Music has been the heartbeat of my life from my earliest memories. Even as a little girl, I found joy in entertaining my family, and my mom cherished those moments, seated in her favorite chair, soaking in the melodies I wove.

From portraying Maria in my high school play to gracing the stage at Astroworld’s Palace show during my school days, my journey led me on a global adventure with the USO, where I had the honor of entertaining troops during the Korean War.

Singing is not just a passion; it’s the essence of my existence. Even after marriage, my commitment to music persisted as I took up the role of a worship leader in church. While my touring days paused with the arrival of children, my love for teaching emerged. It was a different stage, but equally fulfilling.

I’ve stood on the prestigious stage of Carnegie Hall in New York, and today, two of our children grace the lights of Broadway. Singing remains a vital part of my life; my husband and I harmonize on the praise team at church. Though I’ve stepped out of the classroom, I continue to share my love for music privately, guiding individuals of all ages in nurturing their voices with sound health and effective techniques.

I’d be honored to assist you on your musical journey. Give me a call, and let’s embark on a harmonious adventure together.

WHAT IS YOUR DREAM?

Most people would say their secret dream is to be able to sing like an American Idol.

The truth is that more people have an undiscovered ability to sing but have never been taught properly.

The only way to find out if you have an undiscovered gift of singing is to allow a vocal coach to test you.

The reason this post is titled Vocal Health for the Singer is because many times, because of abuse, they begin to lose their ability to sing and, many times, even to speak well.

Poor nutrition, lack of sleep and vocal rest, screaming at football games, etc., can all harm the delicate instrument within you that creates sound.

Your voice can only take so much abuse, and then you lose the ability to sing well.
